Sustainable IT Action NL is a group is for anyone with a passion for sustainable software and supports the Green Software Foundation’s (GSF) mission to create a trusted ecosystem of people, standards, tooling and best practices for green software. We envision a thriving Dutch Green IT Community empowered to take charge of its future.
The previous Green Software Foundation NL joined forces with Sustainable IT Netherlands and continue together as Sustainable IT Action NL — a broader, action-oriented community that brings sustainable software, green IT, and cost-aware engineering under one umbrella. New members are very welcome to join and help shape what comes next.
The non profit Green Software Foundation aims to change the culture of building software across the tech industry, so sustainability becomes a core priority to software teams, just as important as performance, security, cost and accessibility.
The Sustainable IT Action NL meetup community focuses on:
- Raising awareness about green IT principles and their impact.
- Encouraging action by sharing practical knowledge and fostering collaboration.
- Creating a welcoming environment for individuals and organizations
committed to Sustainable IT.
