Booyaka festival - The art of music

AN INVITATION TO BECOME CREATION

This event is organized by Black Puma Studio's. By sharing this event, supported by The Solo Tribe. RSVP via https://hipsy.nl/event/259073-booyaka-festival-the-art-of-music

Sometimes, you’re so present that the next sound or movement seems to arrive on its own. You hear your voice joining another, feel a rhythm finding its way through your body. For a moment, you are the music.

BooyaKa makes room for those moments together. Inside Amsterdam’s Keizersgrachtkerk, church organ, piano and electronic rhythms meet our voices, movement and play. Each person brings something that changes what becomes possible in the room.

My Vipassana practice has taught me to pay attention to what arises, with curiosity. That spirit runs through this 9th edition, Business of Love, as we explore self-love, sharing love and the ways we connect. I’m curious about what happens when we meet without already knowing what we want from one another.

— Akshay
