Our Language Exchange Bar Nights and other language events are the perfect way to practise your Dutch, English, or Spanish while enjoying a drink in a friendly atmosphere. 🍹 Whether you come with friends or on your own, there’s always someone to chat with!

Hi everyone! 👋 Want to practise your English while having fun and meeting new people? This is your chance! 🇬🇧
🏨 Join our free 1-hour English Escape Room at our language school in Amsterdam Zuid!
Work together in teams of 5 to solve puzzles, find the secret code and escape the Grand Sunrise Hotel, all in English!
🎲 How it works
This isn't a class. It's a fun game to practice English and expand your vocabulary! Every player gets a secret clue card that the others can't see, so everyone has to talk, listen and ask questions to solve each puzzle. Teams are mixed so that everyone can join in and help.
🔐 What to expect: 5 puzzles, 3 teams, 1 exit code, and lots of speaking practice! Afterwards, we'll chat about the best moments and learn some useful new phrases together.
🗣️ Level: A2 (elementary) to advanced. Not suitable for complete beginners.
📅 When: Thursday 29 October, 14:30–15:30 (doors open at 14:15)
📍 Where: Rietwijkerstraat 10, 1059 VZ Amsterdam
👥 Capacity: Maximum 15 participants (3 teams of 5)

⏰ Please arrive on time. We need to form balanced teams before we start, so the door closes at 14:30 and we can't let latecomers join the game.

In this Storytelling in Spanish Masterclass, you’ll boost your Spanish skills through creative storytelling, learning to express yourself naturally, confidently, and correctly in a fun and interactive way. This masterclass is designed and led by one of our expert teachers at Language Corner Amsterdam.
During this interactive class, you’ll:
🗣️ Practise storytelling & creative speaking & writing (Even when writing, the focus stays on interaction)
💬 Strengthen your sentence structure (Yes, sentence structure! as you will be guided by a teacher)
💡 Expand your vocabulary, especially emotions, descriptions, and actions through guided assignments
🔗 Learn to use connectors for smoother, more fluent speech!This masterclass is open to all levels as everyone will adjust to their own level (except absolute beginners or beginners) and focuses on helping you communicate ideas clearly while having fun in Spanish! And remember we focus on each of you telling a story, it is not about levels, but on mastering your own storytelling skills!

At Language Corner, we focus on communication. Our method focuses on speaking from day one, because grammar is important, but how we teach it makes all the difference.
Telling a story in Spanish can be tricky as sentence structure often gets in the way. But with the right guidance and practice, you’ll learn how to express your ideas naturally and confidently, one story at a time. 🇪🇸✨
Storytelling is one of the most powerful and natural ways to learn a language. Instead of memorising isolated words or grammar rules, you’ll learn Spanish in context, just like native speakers do.
In short, this masterclass helps students move from studying Spanish to actually using it, meaning real progress, more confidence, and a lot more fun.
