Welcome to the fascinating world of parapsychology - for those who are interested in exploring new territory where science can lead us through evidence-based research and investigation, what it can tell us about ourselves, our world, and the great beyond.
This is a discussion group for enthusiasts and the curious – a developing community open to questioning commonly-held science dogmas and exploring new paradigms. It's a space for thought-provoking presentations, to connect and share our insights and inspirations, questions and quandaries in relation to what we’ve been learning from some of the world’s top academics and scientists who are forging new ground through parapsychology.
To be clear, discussions will include areas such as near-death experiences, consciousness and the brain, past life memories, hypnosis, telepathy, clairvoyance, mediumship, precognition, channelling, apparitional experiences, remote viewing, psychokinesis, ESP, etc.
Wherever possible, we emphasise tying information and experiences back to evidence-based research and studies. This group is for genuine enthusiasts and hard-headed thinkers.
Note: We also have a Facebook group "Parapsychology Meetup Australia" where you can connect and chat with other members of the community, share your experiences, or raise questions about parapsychology. We try to ensure all questions will be responded to with evidence-based research.

Parapsychology Dialogues - Welcome Reception
Rydges Hotel, 9 Missenden Rd, Camperdown, Sydney, AUThe Parapsychology Dialogues is the premier annual convention in parapsychology held in a different city of the world every year. And this year, it's in Sydney - first time ever in Australia!
This landmark event has a Welcome Reception (Thurs evening) followed by 3 days (Fri-Sun) of presentations, research briefs, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities with 30+ academics, scientists, clinicians, and educators from all over the world. Plus there is a Gala Banquet event on the Saturday evening.
This is a paid conference, and it is split into separate events in Meetup because you may choose to go to one or two days or the whole conference. The details of speakers and topics will be shown on each event post. More info and tickets available here: Conference Tickets
A bunch of us from Melbourne are already going, and if you RSVP on this series of Meetup events, we'll be in contact to add you to the Whatsapp group, so we can mutually coordinate and support the trip.
