The Nexxxt Step is part of a pilot programme offering internationals in the Amsterdam Area the chance to meet new people, learn about the city and explore meaningful ways to participate in local life.
The event includes a guided session to help participants identify a next step they can take towards feeling more at home.

### Who it's for

The session is for international professionals and their accompanying partners in the Amsterdam Area, looking to build social connections.
Participation is by invitation through a participating employer. Invited employees are welcome to bring an accompanying partner.

### What to expect

1. A relaxed setting with space for real conversation
2. The story of Amsterdam and its surrounds brought to life
3. Candid insights into building a social life and lasting connections
4. The role of Dutch in supporting everyday interactions
5. Ways to volunteer and engage with local communities
