Collage Club - "Tearing up"

Our newest Collage Club invites you to explore collage in a different way: without scissors.

By setting aside our usual tools, we create space to notice something new. When tearing and folding with our hands, we slow down and focus more on the moment, attuning to textures, edges and the unexpected shapes that emerge. This gentle shift opens the door to different feelings and fresh creative directions.

Tearing may bring a rawness or softness that cutting doesn’t; it invites imperfection and playfulness, allowing your collage to unfold in surprising ways.

No background in art is required. You can try things out, follow your intuition and see what unfolds. All materials are provided, and each person’s interpretation will be their own.

If it’s your first meetup, or you’re shy, or it just feels awkward to walk into a room full of strangers... Don’t worry. I’ve got you. I’ll be there to welcome you and you’ll see how warm and easy the vibe is.
