Join us for an autumn morning at Trompenburg Botanical Garden where we’ll slow down, get curious and experience nature through all five senses.
Over the course of the morning, you’ll take part in a series of small creative and sensory experiences designed to help you connect with your surroundings and with the people experiencing them alongside you.
🍂 What to expect
- 🎨 Botanical painting — choose a plant, observe it closely and translate what you notice onto paper.
- 👃 Five Smells Challenge — close your eyes and explore five mystery scents.
- 🌰 Touch & texture exploration — discover natural materials without relying on sight.
- 🌿 Listening meditation — sit among the trees and notice the sounds your brain usually filters out.
- ☕ A Sip of Autumn — finish the experience together over a warm seasonal tea.
- ✨ And a few more sensory moments along the way.
You don’t need any experience with painting or meditation. There is nothing to perform and nothing to be “good at". Just come with an open mind.

### About the organiser
I’m Celia Suárez, a Health & Lifestyle Coach with a background in Lifestyle Medicine and Art Therapy.
I believe health is about much more than exercising, eating well and following the perfect routine. Curiosity, creativity, nature and especially community are part of it too.
For me, one of the most powerful ways to connect with people is simply to experience something new together. This event was created around that idea: slowing down for a morning, noticing things we normally overlook, meeting new people and experiencing autumn from a slightly different perspective.
