WebMCP and the Agentic Web

WordPress Meetup 010

## Talks

Talk1 - Fellyph Cintra - WebMCP and the Agentic Web
What if your website could tell an AI agent exactly what it can do?
AI agents are opening up new ways to navigate websites and perform tasks online. What does that mean for the websites we build—and how do we keep people in control?

WebMCP
WebMCP is a proposal to help websites communicate their capabilities to AI agents, making it easier for agents to understand which actions are available.
Using examples in WordPress Playground, Fellyph will explore how this could change the way we interact with web applications and what it could mean for WordPress developers and site builders.

What you’ll explore

• What WebMCP proposes and how it connects websites with AI agents.
• Practical examples using WordPress Playground.
• Where to start experimenting and what precautions to consider.
• How you can contribute to the proposal as it evolves.

If you build WordPress websites, develop plugins, or want to understand how AI agents might interact with your projects, this talk offers a practical starting point.
