Stoic Hike — Epen & Teuven | 14 km | August 2

Beyond the regular Tuesday Stoic Walks, this is a Stoic Hike: longer distance, more ground covered, and more space for the conversation to breathe.

We'll be walking around 14 km through the landscape around Epen, crossing the border into Belgium and through the village of Teuven. The terrain mixes forest paths, open fields, and views over the Gulp valley, genuinely one of the more striking stretches of Zuid-Limburg.
The goal is the same as always: move through nature, discover new places, and explore new ways of looking at life.

Meeting point
Parkeerplaats Epen Bronnenland P1, Kapelaan Houbenstraat, Epen. Parking is free.
Please arrive by 9:15 so we can set off together at 9:30.

Places are limited to 20 people — sign up early.

What to bring
Good walking shoes are essential; the terrain includes some steep and uneven sections. Bring enough water, lunch or snacks for the full hike, a hat, and sunscreen if needed. August in Limburg can be warm, so come prepared.
No background in philosophy or Stoicism needed. Just bring curiosity and a willingness to think out loud.

See you on the path,
Benny
