Student Chess Haarlem – Social Chess Evenings

Student Chess Haarlem is a casual chess evening for students who want to play, learn a bit, and meet other people.

No course, no pressure. Just chess as a social activity.
Total beginners and more experienced players are welcome.

The evening starts with a short intro or lesson, followed by free play, drinks, snacks, and time to meet others.

On some nights we add a small extra, like an optional mini tournament or a chance to play a game against a chess master.

• Location: De Koepel, Haarlem
• When: Every second Thursday
• Dates: 5 March, 19 March, 2 April, 16 April, 30 April, 14 May 2026
• Time: 19:30 – 21:30 (feel free to stay until a bit later)
• Price: €20 for 6 evenings, including snacks and 2 drinks per evening
