WPTampere: Drinks and Networking

In April we will get together at Teerenpeli in the centre of Tampere (https://www.teerenpeli.com/en/Restaurants/Tampere-Teerenpeli).

This will be an informal get together and everyone is free to bring up topics they’d like to discuss. Also WordPress 7.0 is scheduled for final release on April 9, 2026. For those of you who are attending for the first time, this will be a perfect opportunity for you to meet some of the members of the community.

The meetup starts at 17:00. You’ll find us at cabinet on street level, look for WordPress logo.

As always, bring your laptops along if you need help with any WordPress-related issues. There are always people there who will be able to help you or point you in the right direction.

## Avoin puhujahaku: toukokuun Tampereen WordPress-meetup

Etsimme puhujaa toukokuun Tampereen WordPress-meetupiin.
Tällä kertaa erityisesti tekoälyyn liittyvät aiheet WordPressin ympärillä kiinnostavat. Puheenvuoro voi käsitellä esimerkiksi kehitystä, suunnittelua, sisällöntuotantoa, asiakasprojekteja tai omia työnkulkuja.

Sinun ei tarvitse olla tekoälyn “asiantuntija” — käytännön näkökulma riittää. Haemme ennen kaikkea käytännön kokemuksia: mikä on toiminut, mikä ei, ja mitä olet oppinut.

## Open call for speakers: Tampere WordPress meetup in May

We’re looking for a speaker for the Tampere WordPress meetup in May.
This time, we’re especially interested in AI-related topics around WordPress. The talk can focus on development, design, content creation, client work, or personal workflows.
We’re mainly looking for practical experiences: what has worked, what has not, and what you have learned.

You do not need to be an “AI expert” — a practical perspective is enough.
