Michael, difference in version gives a consumer various pricepoints. If you are not a hardcore user you can go with home basic\home premium. Once you are a basic user and deiced that you need more from OS upgrade. I like that approach. That page you referenced, has a break down of what each version has. All right there, is this too complicated of a task for Mac user?
It might be too complicated for a Mac user but then again should you need to be smart to use a computer?
