Sandy Relief Benefit

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, The Pub's owner Scott Broccoli - like many fellow San Franciscans - is a transplant.  After moving out here over 14 years ago from New York, he is proud to call San Francisco home.  We have all seen the destruction that Hurricane Sandy has left on the East Coast. Scott's hometown, Dobbs Ferry - fortunately was not hit very hard.  Over the last two weeks, Scott has been in constant contact with friends and family that have been working tirelessly to help those that were not so lucky.
There are countless heart wrenching stories of those who have lost everything -  their homes, their cars, their place of work and even their loves ones.  New York communities are coming together to help one another in this time of need.  Scott and fellow New Yorkers/San Franciscans are compelled to join the relief efforts.  That is why Dobbs Ferry Restaurant located at 409 Gough Street, will be hosting a Hurricane Sandy Relief Fundraiser on Sunday, November 18 from 5-9pm. We will have an open bar and serving passed appetizers served by Dobbs Ferry's co-owner and Chef Michael Yakura.
On Sunday, we will be partnering with The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation -  one that we hold close to our hearts.  For over ten years the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation has worked hard to help those that have been hit with tragedy.  Located on New York's Staten Island, one of the hardest hit places in Sandy's path, this amazing foundation is now in need of our help. Please click here to learn more about the Stephen Siller Foundation (www.tunneltotowersfoundation.org).

Tickets to attend the event will cost $100 and include open bar and food. 100% of the proceeds will benefit those that have been adversely impacted by the devastation brought by Hurricane Sandy on the New York City and New Jersey coastlines.

Vist our event page to purchase tickets:

If you can't attend the event please donate what you can with us to help meet our goal of $15,000.  We will personally see that every dollar given is tax deductible and will go directly to the hands of the people that are struggling most in Sandy’s aftermath.
Don’t hesitate to contact Scott Broccoli ([masked]) or the team at Dobb's Ferry ([masked])  with any questions, and thank you in advance.
