Angular Dragons #2 - March 13th, 2018

Szczegóły

Hello!

After a successful first edition, we are proud to announce the next one. Save the date - March 13th is the evening we meet again :) The format stays the same: great people, networking, interesting talks and cringe jokes, all of that over a beer and some delicious food. The registration will open on February 13th, at 5:00 pm.

Call for speakers is open! If you feel like you can share your thoughts and experience, contact us at angular.dragons@gmail.com or via meetup. Related topics such as NativeScript, Ionic or Electron are welcome too. If you don't have stage experience - don't worry! There always is the first time, and we can help you prepare to make it smooth :)

Agenda:

• 17:30 Registration

• 18:00 Welcome & Industry news

• 18:10 Vitalii Bobrov - 'NgRx Schematics'

'NgRx is the great way to manage complex app state. Unfortunately, it is not a silver bullet and as the downside, it requires so much boilerplate code. Developers are lazy and machines must work for us. NgRx Schematics is a huge time-saver. It will automate NgRx code generation and give you the ability to focus on application business logic.'

About Vitalii: Vitalii is a Senior JavaScript Engineer with more than 5 years of professional experience. This guy is not just nerd, but tech blogger, speaker, mentor, open source contributor and great guitar player.

• 18:35 Martin Hochel - 'Use React tools for better Angular apps'

'Angular, React, Vue… they all have their own ecosystem, specific patterns and best practices… For us, the developers, this might become indeed very frustrating as we have to switch between various projects with various libraries… Have no fear, universal solution is here! In this session I will show you how to learn libraries/patterns/tooling only once and apply it everywhere. 💃'

About Martin: Martin is a Principal Software Engineer with strong passion for JavaScript/TypeScript and clean code. He loves contributing to open source (ngMetadata, SkateJS, Angular, React, Preact), enjoys writing technical articles on http://Medium.com and also runs the biggest JavaScript meetup in Prague/CZ - ngParty.
Martin loves to travel the world and meeting new people at conferences. When he’s not busy preparing the next meetup or talk, you can find him outside on one of his skate/snow/wakeboards (depends on weather conditions yo!)

• 19:10 Refreshment break 🍺

• 19:30 Maciej Olejnik - 'CouchDB & PouchDB - synergy for PWA . #1 how to kill a hydra of problems?' [PL]

...and networking 'till 21:00 🍺🍺🍺 🎤 :)
