We welcome anyone, at any skill and experience level, with an interest in synthesizers, modular gear, grooveboxes, drum machines, samplers, livecoding, trackers, chiptune, or any other method to create and perform electronic music. We have a focus on mutual education, knowledge-building, and performing. We run regular meetups, and occasionally promote events such as concerts or conventions.

This is our eighth event at the UMass Amherst M5 Makerspace.
Open and welcome to all skill and interest levels.
Bring some gear and play or demonstrate for 5 minutes, or come and enjoy and connect with others!

We have power outlets and some power strips, but performers should supply their own power strips, extension cables, and headphones. We will have a PA system available for people to plug into during performances.
M5 is the home of the Electrical and Computer Engineering student makerspace and is loaded with cool retro-computing devices and tools.
If you are interested in performing and/or demonstrating gear for no more than 5 minutes, please plan to arrive before 2 PM to set up.Many thanks to Baird Soules for hosting the event!
