The Human Equation: Cultivating Authentic Trust and Teamwork.

Today's world of work demands more of us than ever before. Teams are no longer just structures; they are complex ecosystems where balance and resilience are key. How do we nurture this human element of our teams in the midst of dynamic change, ensuring that each person feels valued and the whole group operates effectively?

Join us! We'll explore how to foster the individual development of team members while maintaining group harmony and productivity. We will consider how to recognize and harness the potential inherent in everyone, regardless of experience or generation, creating a truly balanced and future-ready team.

We will also present a new formula for the first time - we will use Coffideas.

Coffideas is a dynamic meeting method designed to bring people together in solving problems, sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences and perspectives.
More info here - https://coffideas.com/en

The Coffideas sessions are interactive and require you to have a smartphone with you. Please, remember to charge them:)

Here are our speakers:

1. Renata Porębska: Generations at Work: Managing Differences, Building Strengths

Welcome to the ultimate workplace mash-up: Boomers who prefer meetings in person, Millennials who live on Slack, and Gen Z who wonder why we still use email. Managing across generations can feel like herding cats — all with different playlists, coffee orders, and opinions on "what time work starts." But when we stop rolling our eyes and start listening, we find that this mix of experience, energy, and fresh perspectives is our biggest asset. With a little patience (and maybe some extra coffee), we can turn generational chaos into collaboration gold.

About the presenter:
PhD in Materials Engineering, ex-academic, ex-teacher, and for the last 14 years a proud scientist of the ABB Corporate Technology Center. She’s spent most of her career surrounded by materials and their mysterious properties — and somehow still finds them fascinating. Currently leading the Sustainability Competence Center, she’s passionate about saving the planet, one spreadsheet at a time. Despite the years of experience, she’s full of energy, eager to listen, and always up for a good challenge — especially if it involves changing the world for better place to live.

2. Aneta Kokoszka: How to navigate bad work habits of your key team members?

To grow in our careers, we must adapt, accept feedback, and evolve. But what if a key employee struggles with this? Am I doing enough to support them? What if it affects the rest of the team and tensions arise? What managers can realistically do, and where our responsibility ends and theirs begins? Join me in trying to answer that questions!

About the presenter:
IT Business Application Owner at ABB Information Systems. EMBA, with background in e-learning, and education in Journalism & Social Communication. Strong knowledge in Change Management, focused on the people side of transformation. Currently manages a Team of IT professionals, delivering a Software Subscription Management solution used across multiple ABB Divisions.

3. Maciej Król: Gather Your Party Before Venturing Forth – Importance of Recognizing Strengths in Your Team

You are assigned a Task – this Task is surely of great importance to your city, or even the whole kingdom. Great perils are ahead, so you must choose your companions wisely…or do you? Are we not in a world, where everyone should be able to do anything, switch and change hats, taking whatever the fate has prepared for us head on? This conversation aims to highlight the importance of taking time to recognize the strengths, patterns and preferred ways of working within the team, as well as to open the question “what to do, if I am stuck with wrong character”.

About the presenter:
Applied Psychology graduate, People Development Specialist with over 9 years of work in ABB, specializing in all things growth-related. Currently working in People Excellence team in ABB Information Systems, handling programs for High Potential Leaders, development events and initiatives.
