馃寧The second event from Angular Meetups Spring Camp will be on 19th May at 3 PM CEST ONLINE!
What will be discussed?
Here is the meetup's agenda:
馃敼Zoneless Angular: Predictable Performance Krzysztof Skorupka (Angular Expert)
Zone.js has shaped Angular鈥檚 change detection for years - but that era is ending. In this talk we鈥檒l trace the evolution of Angular鈥檚 CD mechanisms, explore what zoneless mode changes (and what it doesn鈥檛) - along with the performance wins that come with it.
馃敼Atomic State Patterns with Angular Signals: Simplifying Complex UI by Fanis Prodromou (Google Developer Expert) As Angular applications grow, our state management often follows one of two paths: a bloated, boilerplate-heavy global store or a complicated "God Component" managing dozens of RxJS streams or reactive signals. When you add complex requirements鈥攍ike multi-layered filters, dynamic UI "pills," and bi-directional URL synchronization鈥攖he cracks in these traditional patterns begin to show.
In this talk, we will explore a fundamental shift in architecture: Atomic State Patterns.
By leveraging the power of Angular Signals, we can move away from monolithic state objects and toward decentralized, high-performance "atoms" of logic. We will live-architect a real-world filtering system, demonstrating how to:
Deconstruct the Monolith: Break down complex filter states into independent, composable Signal units.
Master the URL Bridge: Create a "Source of Truth" where the URL and local UI state are perfectly synced without race conditions.
Harness Derived State: Use computed() signals to automatically generate UI elements like "Filter Pills" without manual subscription management.
Stop fighting your state. Start composing it.
馃敼Ashes to Ashes, Specs to Specs: To Vitest & Beyond by Younes Jaaidi (Google Developer Expert)
