Are you looking to build deeper, more meaningful connections in Warsaw? Do you feel tired of small talk and wish you had a supportive "tribe" to share your journey with?
Join us for "The Art of Connection," a weekly, 3-hour interactive lab designed to give you the practical tools to build authentic community in your life. This is an ongoing practice group that will run until the group itself develops the competence to meet and grow without a facilitator.
In a safe, facilitated circle, we will explore and practice:
- The foundations of authentic communication: Learn how to express yourself clearly and listen with empathy using principles from Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
- The dynamics of group trust: Understand the natural stages a group goes through and how to navigate challenges constructively, based on M. Scott Peck's work.
- Practical exercises to build trust, foster genuine connection, and move beyond superficial interactions.
Commitment & Regularity Like any practice (be it yoga, meditation, or learning an instrument), consistency is key to building trust and group cohesion. Regular weekly attendance is highly encouraged to get the most out of the experience for yourself and the group. Of course, life happens! If you need to miss a single session, you will receive materials from the workshop to help you stay up to date.
Who is this for? This workshop is for any English-speaker in Warsaw who is ready to invest in building real, supportive relationships. No previous experience is needed, only an open mind and a desire for connection.
About the Facilitator: The lab is led by Paweł Sceplik (Green sweatshirt), a pedagogue, sociotherapist, and author of the book "Vibrant Community". He is a community building facilitator trained in the methods of M. Scott Peck and NVC.
