• [ENG] Behavioral Trees - How do they work? - Maciej Aleksandrowicz
  Have you ever tried to program complex strategies for your robot? There are good chances that sooner or later, you will encounter the problem of choosing an adequate sequence of actions in various situations. Typically the State Machine paradigm is used to manage how a robot will act. However, a state machine can be tricky to scale up or modify. Luckily there is another way to handle these sequences - the Behavioral Tree paradigm!
  About the speaker:
  I have been a robotics software engineer for around 3.5 years. I've been mainly working with industrial robots in Poland, using ROS2 since Dashing distribution. I've decided to focus on my PhD studies at AGH UST in the field of deep reinforcement learning for robotics.

  How low the latency must be in order to control cyber-physical machines from and via “the Internet” in a Real-Time? What machines can you control in such a manner? Can we define and measure the reliability of such a solution? Introduction of a few useful and affordable telecommunication tools, that might HELP YOU design, control, scale, and distribute your robotic application. All of that served in a nice and easy manner through a story of Hi5, hubraum/T-Mobile remote-maintenance prototype.
  About the speaker:
  Mr. Kordas has been building innovations at the meeting point of telco, electronics, robotics, and VR for several years since. He has founded several companies and led challenging experimental projects for versatile clients in the seek of an innovation that would bring real value. ATM he's founding a DeveloperZord company, that allows essentializing expert/specialist time and assignments through converting him into a hybrid micro-team.
