  • [ENG] Building a low-cost autonomous personal robot - Maciej Stępień
    Roomac is a low-cost autonomous general-purpose robot that consists of a differential drive mobile base and a 5-DoF manipulator. The costs of the whole construction summed up to around 2700zł and using this platform I was able to create a proof-of-concept application - fetching a bottle to the user. In this presentation I will give a brief summary of the project, describing both construction and ROS-based software for autonomous navigation and manipulation.
    About the speaker:
    Robotics Software Engineer at Husarion, M.Sc. graduate of Automatics and Robotics at the EAIiIB Faculty of the AGH UST. Professionally working on mobile robots software using ROS and ROS 2, also a passionate roboticist, completing several hobby projects (about which you can find out more on page https://macstepien.github.io/).
  • [ENG] Stable Diffusion and $10 - Tomasz Wrona
    It has been a year since Stable Diffusion, the largest open-source image generation pipeline, was released. Since then, many improvements have been done, and new tools have been introduced. In this presentation, I’d like to present to you the most interesting ones (subjectively), as well as how to try them on your own, using cheap GPU cloud instances.
    About the speaker:
    Machine Learning Research Engineer at Let’s Enhance, M.Sc. in Automatics and Robotics (AGH UST). Previously, working on applying reinforcement learning to practical problems, such as testing web applications and autonomous driving.

    Robotics Software Engineer, working mainly in ROS 2 since Dashing. Currently PhD Student @ AGH UST (Krakow), focusing his efforts on researching deep reinforcement learning for robotics. In his free time, he is a technology enthusiast.
