Hive61 #10 Legimi, Twilio & Friends

Szczegóły

Hive61 is Poznan Startup and Business Community. Series of meetups for people with entrepreneurial drive in Poznan.

Hive #10 will be hosting quite a bunch of interesting speakers. Below you can see their profiles and topics they will be speaking about.

Seems that it will be quite hot, but we have great news! This time out we will have waiting for you refreshing beers and soft drinks. All sponsored by Twillo! Thanks a lot :)

Lisa Lang / Twilio

Lisa is running Twillio's marketing in Europe and now she is organising a trip around Poland for a group of entrepreneurs and Twilio's (https://www.twilio.com/) clients. Apart from that, she is one of the main forces behind Geekettes.io (http://www.geekettes.io/) and many semi-formal tech/startup meetups, events etc.

And what's Twillio? It's is a cloud communication company from San Francisco, that enables users to use standard web languages to build voice, VoIP and SMS apps via a web API. They've raised over $100 million in 5 investments rounds!

Jonas Huckestein / Hipdial (https://www.hipdial.com/) / Topic: "How to turn your code into a business"

http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/4/e/e/600_388681262.jpeg

Jonas spent the last few years in Silicon Valley. He was part of most stages of the startup lifecycle (YCombinator, funding, acquisition, IPO). Now he's in Berlin, working on his Twilio-powered company HipDial (pin-less conference calls; coming to Poland in July). He's interested in creating highly leveraged, sustainable online businesses outside of the Silicon Valley hype machine.

Josef Dunn / Babelverse (http://babelverse.com/) / Topic: The Power of Networking - an entrepreneur's journey

http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/2/4/600_388681572.jpeg

Josef is Co-Founder/CEO of Babelverse, Inc (Startup Chile, 500 Startups & SV Angel Backed) and currently based in London. Babelverse's vision is to bring seamless communication between all languages, we aim to do to language barriers what the aeroplane did to geographical barriers. Ambitious? I am very passionate that we will achieve this. Great web user experience and accessibility is something I believe strongly in, if we are to take the web forward it must be accessible to all.

Tony Blank / Context.io (http://context.io/) / Topic: "Insights and failures of a San Francisco Startup"

http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/7/4/600_388681652.jpeg

Tony worked as an audio engineer in Atlanta, had a short-lived, ill-advised stint in marketing, and built a data centre in South Carolina for Google. His spare time is filled up with hacking interesting and worthy projects, in addition to mentoring for Techstars London. Currently, he enjoys telling developers about Context.IO and helping build killer apps on top of email.

Mikołaj Małaczyński / Legimi.com (http://www.legimi.com/)

http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/6/b/0/600_388681712.jpeg

Mikołaj is CEO & co-founder of Legimi, a start-up which is considered as Polish "spotify for ebooks". He is also the prize winner of international IT competitions, such as world finals of Microsoft Imagine Cup.

Maciek Laskus / Startup Safary (http://berlin.startupsafary.com/) / Topic: "How to build a community around your product"

http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/3/c/600_388681852.jpeg

Maciej is Co-founder of Startup Safary which is creating tech infused, scalable event and licensing internationally. He is well-networked in startup/tech industry in Germany.

We hope you won't dissapoint us and our guests and we will see on Monday!
