The event is open to everyone interested in exploring Flutter framework and Dart language. Our goal is to build a local Flutter community in Kraków.

Abstract: In this talk, I’ll share insights gained from developing and maintaining an app using Flutter Web. I’ll discuss key lessons learned, persistent GitHub issues, some workarounds for them, and offer a glimpse into the future of WebAssembly (Wasm).

I played a crucial role in my company’s transition from native app development to adopting Flutter, from its early stages to the robust framework it is today. I’ll talk about our efforts and the approaches that allowed us to maintain a consistent codebase across both mobile and web platforms. Join me to explore the journey, challenges, and opportunities that have come with Flutter Web development in recent years.

In the session, we will touch on the Elementary package I authored: the MVVM implementation for Flutter in the most Flutter-compatible style. We'll check the implementation nuances, how this Flutter compatibility was achieved, and the benefits Elementary can bring you to the efficient development of your Flutter app.
