6:55 PM: Krzysztof Krasiński-Sroka - Introduction to Shaders in Flutter

Have you ever wondered what are the limits to rendering in Flutter? Did you want more than the Paint API offers? In this talk, Krzysztof will introduce you to Fragment Shaders: what they are, how do you use one, and what can you achieve with them in Flutter.

7:40 PM: Teresa Wu - Flutter on Desktop: end to end from build to distribution

This talk begins with giving a brief discussion explaining the benefit of cross-platform project on multiple screens (i.e desktop), then it dives into building a desktop application using Flutter on macOS, Linux and Windows, demoing the process of handling navigations, state management and API calls on a very different environment. Then it goes on to talk about desktop application distributions on these three platforms, giving you an overview of an end to end solution to craft your own very first desktop application.

Szymon Mazanik - Applover (Flutter Lead)

Flutter Lead at Applover, with over 6 years of experience. He started as an Android Developer, but quickly discovered the possibilities of the Google framework, followed this technology from the early beta phase, and began to specialize in it. Thanks to this, he can now easily build beautiful and functional applications for Android and iOS. He shares his knowledge on the company blog.

Teresa Wu - J.P. Morgan (VP Engineer)

Teresa is originally from China, then she studied and lived in London for many years, she is a pioneer in her family being the first software engineer. Starting her career as a business analyst, she then got the opportunity to work as a junior software engineer, while studying full time for MSc in Computer Science at Birkbeck, University of London, then slowly developed her career in IT.
