Już 19 kwietnia 2017 w Rzeszowie odbędzie się kolejne spotkanie GDG Rzeszów dotyczące machine Learning. Widzimy się już tradycyjnie w Kwadracie (II piętro, ul. Bardowskiego 4) o godz. 18:00.

Information Theory lies in the heart of many machine learning algorithms, and understanding its principles allows for a good intuition of the how's and the why's of ML. In this talk we'll go from the basics of probability theory to the notion of entropy and its relation to classification tasks. We'll also discuss the topics of generalization, distributed representation, as well as the curse of dimensionality. This is a beginner-level talk, so no prior experience in math or ML is required.
