Night of Museums at a Funeral Home
Szczegóły
Would you enter a funeral home at night?
On May 16, you’ll have the chance to do just that.
As part of Night of Museums 2026, we invite you to “Funerals of the Future” — an event about death that is, in fact, a conversation about life, memory, and meaningful farewells.
Throughout the evening, we will explore what happens after death, what a modern funeral can look like, and how we can say goodbye in a way that truly reflects a person’s story.
Program:
19:00 — “From Death to the Grave”
A talk about what happens to the deceased from the moment of death until the funeral.
20:00 — Humanist Ceremony
A presentation of a personal farewell focused on the life and story of an individual.
21:00 — Guided Tour of Koperski Funeral Home
A walk through the funeral home space and a behind-the-scenes conversation about funeral organization.
22:00 — Humanist Ceremony
23:00 — Q&A with a Coffin Maker
A conversation about coffins, craftsmanship, materials, and the questions people rarely get a chance to ask.
00:00 — Humanist Ceremony
Throughout the evening, you will also have the opportunity to:
✨ wrap yourself in a burial shroud,
✨ sit behind the wheel of a hearse,
✨ touch "human ashes",
✨ and discover much more.
