Sekcja Aktualne Wyzwania Sztucznej Inteligencji przy PTI zaprasza na otwarty webinar, podczas którego porozmawiamy o jakości pracy, zmianach w zawodzie informatyka i odpowiedzialnym wykorzystywaniu AI.

Sztuczna inteligencja coraz mocniej zmienia sposób, w jaki pracujemy. Automatyzuje zadania, przyspiesza analizę danych, wspiera programowanie i pozwala tworzyć rozwiązania, które jeszcze niedawno wymagały pracy całych zespołów. Ale czy oznacza to, że informatyków czeka mniej pracy? A może przede wszystkim inna praca?Podczas webinaru porozmawiamy m.in. o tym, które zadania rzeczywiście możemy oddać AI, a które nadal wymagają wiedzy, doświadczenia i odpowiedzialności człowieka.

Radosław Kita ma wieloletnie doświadczenie w tworzeniu i wdrażaniu systemów analitycznych, raportowych oraz rozwiązań wykorzystujących uczenie maszynowe i AI. Pracował m.in. dla Ringier Axel Springer Polska, Alior Banku, Allegro, Veon, Showmax i Adform. Zajmował się modelowaniem churn, nadużyć, wartości klienta w czasie, trendów w czasie, grupowaniem klientów, odtwarzaniem cech demograficznych na podstawie zachowania. Zarządza zespołami implementującymi techniki uczenia maszynowego i AI w systemach rekomendacji treści, rekomendacji reklam (również Real-Time Bidding). Również zespołami wykorzystującymi modele fundacyjne w usprawnieniu pracy organizacji. Prowadzi zajęcia na studiach executive MBA oraz MBA prowadzonych na Akademii Leona Koźmińskiego oraz „MBA – Innowacje i Analiza Danych” prowadzonych na SWPS we współpracy z Woodbury School of Business w Utah Valley University (USA) oraz z Instytutem Podstaw Informatyki PAN.

The role of Thematic Sessions is to enrich and deepen coverage of the five Topical Areas discerned within the Main Track. Many Thematic Sessions are recurring yearly events, but we also solicit and welcome proposals for new ones, until December 1, 2026. The Thematic Sessions can run over any span of time within the conference dates; from half-day to three days (depending on the number of accepted submissions, which depends directly on the results of the review process).

FedCSIS is a large rigorous scientific conference staged in Europe. Annually, it attracts ~300 submissions from ~45 countries from around the world. Papers are accepted in three categories: regular (full and short), position, and communication. All regular, presented, papers are submitted to IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Moreover, many Technical Sessions offer post-publication opportunities (journals, Springer volumes, etc.) after appropriate extensions and changes. Position and communication papers are published in separate volumes of the Annals of Computer Science and Information Systems book series. All papers are published with ISBN, ISSN and DOI numbers, and submitted to, and indexed in, the most influential indexing services. Since 2012, the FedCSIS Proceedings are indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. Since 2024 Position and Communication papers volumes are indexed in Scopus.

Any newly proposed Thematic Session will be evaluated on the basis of scientific/technical interest and its relevance to practitioners in the proposed topics, the clarity of the proposal in addressing the requested information, the innovativeness of the topics, the level of correspondence and the “value-added” to the FedCSIS Main Track. It is important to stress that the newly proposed Thematic Sessions should be “thematically orthogonal” to the ones offered in the past (in 2026, in particular). Moreover, it is required that the organizers of the Thematic Sessions will represent at least three different countries (with preference given to proposals which involve researchers from multiple continents). Moreover, at least one of Thematic Session organizers should be considered a recognized scholar (on the basis of Google Scholar).

Call for Papers, for the Thematic Sessions, will be announced by: (1) by FedCSIS Chairs in the “generic” Calls for Papers, to reach out to the computer science and intelligence systems researchers at large; and (2) by the Thematic Session Organizers in the Calls for Thematic Session Contributions, to reach out to the professional communities involved in research addressed by their Thematic Session. All papers (for the Main Track and Thematic Sessions) will have to be submitted to the FedCSIS Conference System (EasyChair).

Thematic Session proposals should include the following information (3 pages maximum):

1. The title and acronym of the proposed Thematic Session, and the list of topics.

2. A brief explanation of why the proposed Thematic Session will fit into the FedCSIS aims and program, including its relation to the selected Topical Areas of the Main Track.

3. The contact information of the Thematic Session Organizers, including their affiliations, links to their personal websites (Google Scholar profile, required, in particular), and an overview of previous experiences with organization of scientific events.

4. Preliminary list of Reviewers who have agreed (or are likely to agree) to join. Thematic Session Reviewers will become members of the Program Committee of FedCSIS 2027.

5. Indication of the expected number of papers/attendees, and ways of reaching the proposed numbers.

6. Information about planned post-publications of extended and revised papers in high-quality journals, edited volumes, etc.
