Words, walking, coffee, and Warsaw.
We invite writers, readers, translators, thinkers, and lovers of literature to gather outdoors and share writing aloud: poems, essay excerpts, translations, philosophical fragments, letters, diary entries or any other literary artefacts.
You can bring your own work or a piece by someone else that you love. Of course, printed texts are encouraged, but reading from a phone is fine as well.
This is also an attempt to build a small literary community in Warsaw: a space to read, listen, meet people and make literature feel a little more public.
Meeting point: in front of Restauracja Rozdroże 1974.
A limited amount of coffee will be served from a thermos, free of charge.
Free event. Conducted in English.
Texts in other languages are very welcome, but please bring an English translation.
