Hike starts at 9:45 SHARP -- so get there early!

THE PLAN:
Another random jaunt through the trails at Waterloo Rec starting at the Waterloo Equestrian Campground. The hike will be done at a moderately-fast pace (~3 mph) with small breaks and a 15 minute lunch in the middle.

OPTIONS:
We will be doing two loops. You can do either one loop (7ish miles) or both loops (12ish miles) with us.

PARKING:
Here is the satellite view of the Equestrian campground (note the loop):

We park at the south end of the loop (right turn soon after you enter the campground) by the outhouses (you cannot see the outhouses on the satellite view but they are easy to spot once in the campground). You can park anywhere on the grass on the loop.

DOGS
Only if they are calm and on a leash (this is an equestrian campground)

BATHROOMS
Three: at meeting spot, halfway point, and one more along the way.

COSTS:
If you have a Michigan Recreation Pass: nothing.
If you do not have a Michigan Recreation Pass: $19 (and a Michigan Recreation Pass included so you don't have to pay again... until the next time you renew tabs on your car)

OTHER QUESTIONS:
I will be happy to answer any non-last-minute questions. However, last minute panicked questions because you are lost will likely not be answered. So, please, factor in to your drive some extra getting lost time.

See you on the trail,
Charlie
