Kick off the spring season with Antmicro and the Wroclaw Open Source Meetup series, exploring the latest high-tech and open source topics prepared for the Wroclaw computer science community.
As always, we've lined up two talks, a Q&A session and a networking afterparty till late.

Agenda:

1. Throw away the keys: a primer to GCP OIDC authorization; Adam Olech, Antmicro

Abstract: More often than not, API interactions with cloud providers originate from automated workloads rather than manual actions performed by human operators. This creates a challenge of managing the credentials for service accounts. However, there exists an alternative solution that involves short-lived cryptographically verifiable credentials that allow for a far more granular permission management. We’ll present how they are used in Google Cloud Platform IAM and how to integrate them with common CI/CD solutions.

2. Open Source Digital Design and Verification; Karol Gugala, Antmicro

Abstract: The presentation will cover general techniques of modern digital design including languages, tools and methodologies. It will also show how to speed up the development of complex digital systems like CPUs, peripheral IPs and whole SoCs. Also, we'll discuss how to enable and maintain development environments for digital designs allowing collaboration of engineers from different organisations. Finally, we will present available open source tools and methodologies as well as examples of open source commercial IPs and complete systems.

Attending the event involves a registration at the entry based on the meetup attendee list. You will be asked to provide your name, surname and affiliation. You have to be an adult to attend. Upon entering the venue, you agree that you might be photographed/filmed.
