THE TALKS
#1 "Visual Gen AI Essentials for Real-World Applications" by Taras Rumezhak, R&D Vision Practice Leader at SoftServe
Generative AI is transforming not just text but the entire visual landscape. This presentation explores the essentials of Visual Gen AI - from image and video generation to advanced analysis - and how we evolved from deep research into cutting-edge models to delivering production-ready solutions for real-world clients. We’ll share insights on how Visual Gen AI is being recognized as a transformative technology, the challenges we faced, and the strategies that bridged early experimentation with scalable, impactful applications.
#2 "The Role of Science in Early R&D: A Perspective From Industrial Scientists" by Damyr Hadiiev, R&D Senior Science Practice Leader at SoftServe
Scientific research is the engine behind innovation, but its role in early-stage industrial R&D is often more complex than in academia. This presentation explores how industrial scientists apply scientific principles to navigate real-world constraints, such as timelines, budgets, and commercial goals, while driving innovation. We will discuss how scientific thinking supports risk reduction, creative problem-solving, and technology de-risking in the earliest phases of R&D. Attendees will gain insight into the unique mindset and approaches industrial scientists adopt to translate ideas into scalable, impactful solutions.
#3 "The Agentic Shift: Exploring AI Tools Transforming Software Development" by Arkadiusz Drohomirecki, Lead R&D Engineer at SoftServe
A new wave of AI is reshaping how software is built. This session explores the "agentic shift," focusing on AI agents and autonomous tools poised to revolutionize the SDLC. We'll navigate the current landscape of these intelligent assistants, examining their capabilities in areas like requirements gathering, code generation, automated testing, and rapid prototyping. Through specific examples and potential use cases, attendees will understand how these technologies can significantly amplify developer output, streamline workflows, and unlock new levels of innovation. Prepare to see how AI is becoming an indispensable co-pilot in modern software engineering.
