TorontoJS is a 100% volunteer run community and non-profit that supports everyone in their learning and passion for sharing knowledge in JavaScript and software development.
- We’ve grown from the merging of a few local meetups 10 years ago to be one of the largest tech meetups in the world!
- Our members and volunteers are in Toronto, the GTHA, and so many places around the world.
- TorontoJS has an active program of in-person and online events, community software projects, and a supportive Slack community.
We’re growing and have in-person and online volunteer opportunities for all areas of the tech community: developers, designers, UIUX, a11y/accessibility product, QA, and more.

Abstract: Use custom HTML tags and CSS nesting to write semantic, legible code without using div, span, or build tools, or JS frameworks needed. HTML3000 breaks the document-based web paradigm. - 19:00 - From Zero to Hero: System Design for New Engineers by Jatinder Bhola
Abstract: Learn key system design concepts: rate limiting, serverless architecture, caching, load balancing, and the CAP theorem. Ideal for new grads, junior developers, and anyone interested in large-scale systems. - 19:30 - Networking
