📢 Grzegorz Pabian: Validation with io-ts Revisited

Inspired by a great talk about io-ts last year, we will take a
deep dive into the capabilities of this library and how using it can
improve your development experience.

Grzegorz Pabian is a full-stack developer who has been using
TS for over two years and has attended several Warsaw TypeScript
meetups so far.

📢 Rafał Pocztarski: TypeScript Meets WebAssembly - Using AssemblyScript on the Frontend and Backend with Node.js and Deno in 2020

WebAssembly is already supported by all major desktop and mobile browsers, Node, Deno, and soon it will power the Ethereum 2.0 blockchain with the new EVM called eWASM that stands for Ethereum WebAssembly, so it is a very important technology to know for all frontend, backend and crypto developers. AssemblyScript is a strict subset of TypeScript, which is a typed superset of JavaScript. This subset of a JS superset lets us use a familiar syntax and a powerful type system that we all know and love to write high performance portable code for the future.

Rafał Pocztarski got obsessed with programming when he was 6 years old and hasn't recovered since then. He started using Node.js in 2009 shortly after the original announcement, the same with Deno in 2018. Currently he is designing and building backend APIs for mobile and web apps using Node.js while waiting for Deno to get mature enough to use in production.
