web3.krk meet-up #3

Szczegóły
Don’t let the winter time keep you at home – come and join us for the next edition of our web3.krk meetup! Our cozy office is waiting for you with comfy sofas, some blockchain talk and fellow web3 devs 🧑💻
If, however, the Polish winter aura is too much for you to go outside, you can also join our live stream: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ERxLZvM4ao
What's in the lineup?
1. Kacper Kozioł, Herodotus
Storage Proofs - Unlocking historical and cross-chain data access with storage proofs
Herodotus is building cross-chain data access solutions that enable reading arbitrary on-chain data between Ethereum Layers (L1 <> L2, L2 <> L2, or even between L3s). Storage proofs can enable proving ownership of any erc-20, erc-721, without any off-chain attestations.
In many cases, Herodotus storage proofs eliminate the need for bridging tokens. For example, SnapshotX uses their solutions to allow users to vote on a L2 with the users L1 assets.
2.Artur Michałek, Software Mansion
Understanding MEVs
The process of ordering transactions, managed by block validators or miners, is significant in the world of blockchain. Regular nodes usually put transactions in sequence based on who pays the most fee. However, some nodes can reorder these transactions to extract extra value from the block. This talk will explore some of the existing Miner Extractable Value mechanisms and discuss their pros and cons.
As always, we won’t let you starve – we’ll be waiting for you at the end with some pizza & beers 🍕
See you soon ❄️
