Itinerary
Meet outside St. Oswald's Church. We start by walking through the old part of Flamborough to a path that cuts through fields/meadows and woodland to Danes Dyke - a beautiful white rock beach. We then follow the coast past the South Landing Cliffs and continue onto the The Drinking Dinosaur (a stunning rock formation created by erosion) and then onto Flamborough Lighthouse. We can stop here for lunch, we can enjoy an ice cream here and there are toilets too if anyone needs.
We then continue along the coast to Selwicks Bay, North Landing Cliffs and beach and then finish with the amazing Thornwick Bay. The tide is fully out by 2pm so there will be lots of caves and rock formations to explore. We finish the last part of the coast of this walk and then cut back in land back to Flamborough.
We can try find fish & chips in Flamborough, go to a pub or head to Bridlington where there is more choice of both.
