Hello Erlang & Elixir Community!

We are excited to invite you to our November meetup at Erlang Solutions Office in Krakow.
Get ready for an evening of inspiring talks, live code, networking opportunities, and, of course, everyone's favorites - pizza and beer!

I Presentation - 30 min + Q&A
Speaker: Paweł Chrząszcz - Software Architect at Erlang Solutions
Topic: Guess Less - Smart Debugging with Erlang Doctor
Abstract: It is tough to figure out why a piece of Erlang or Elixir code is failing, or why and how it is working. We tend to come up with multiple ideas, which are essentially guesses, and tediously verify them one by one. During my 15 years of experience with Erlang, I crafted a small yet powerful tool that, by leveraging the Erlang tracer, can encourage you to stop guessing and analyse stored function traces instead.

II Presentation - 30 min + Q&A
Speaker: Joseph Yiasemides - Full Stack Elixir Developer at Bramble
Topic: Live Coding A Tetris Clone in LiveView
Abstract: I started writing a Tetris for an interview earlier this year, then I brought it to working -or should I say playing- state with LiveView for another, and I've been coding on it -on and off- since. It's been more fun than actually playing Tetris. It's already quite featureful but let's code more of it together.

Quick update: We've had to postpone our meetup, originally scheduled for the 8th of November, by two weeks due to some unexpected issues. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
The new date to mark in your calendars is the 22nd of November. We still hope to see you in our office and we're looking forward to it!
