Talk: Beyond the language and mobile - overview of the Kotlin ecosystem

Even the best programming language is nothing without a vibrant technology ecosystem built around it. During this talk, we will go on a journey through frameworks and libraries that are available for backend developers who are eager to try out Kotlin. The presentation will be a software architect’s view on popular technologies written in pure Kotlin, which can be seamlessly combined to form a fully-fledged solution. Ultimately, we will try to figure out whether Kotlin and its ecosystem are mature enough to be the foundation for enterprise grade projects.

Piotr is a passionate JVM enthusiast. Piotr works as a Software Architect. He is responsible for designing and implementing solutions for global financial institutions. He deeply believes that common sense is the most important tool in software development. Piotr is an occasional speaker and trainer.
