This session breaks down three network behaviors that give C2 away: beaconing, long connections, and DNS tunneling, along with how strategic Zeek sensor placement determines whether you can see them at all. In the hands-on workshop, you'll stand up RITA, dive into real Zeek logs from live malicious traffic, and hunt down each behavior yourself, capped off with a quick look at corroborating your findings on the endpoint using Velociraptor.
