Szczegóły

Stroll on sidewalks, cobblestones, and stone pathways as you walk through this historic town. Walk through the Historic District, a waterfront park, White Point Gardens, the Market are, and the College of Charleston. There's a lot to absorb!

There is very little elevation change, mostly flat, and the walk is almost entirely on pavement (with the occasional cobblestone or stone pathway, as mentioned above). This walk is suitable for strollers, but not for wheelchairs.

Bring plenty of water and a protein snack. Dress for the weather; consider a hat and sunscreen. Tennis shoes should be fine. Most will not want a walking stick (I will take one for stability on the cobblestones).

We will be piggybacking on this walk with the Asheville Amblers, Stryder, and perhaps others. Choose between a 5 KM/3 mile guided walk and a 10 KM/6 mile guided walk.

The best parking is at the Charleston Visitor's Center Parking Garage, 63 Mary St., Charleston SC 29403. It is only a block away from the Hampton Inn, our start point.

Meet to register at 9:00 a.m. at the Hampton Inn—Historic District, 345 Meeting St., Charleston SC 29403, 843-723-4000, 800-853-8000. Step-off will be at 9:30 a.m.
