Support Grp Meeting for Social Anxiety, C-PTSD, Loneliness & Narcissistic Abuse
Szczegóły
## Support Group Meeting for Social Anxiety, Complex-PTSD, Loneliness & Narcissistic Abuse
This ongoing support group meeting is for people navigating social anxiety, Complex-PTSD or developmental trauma, loneliness, attachment wounds, narcissistic abuse, emotional neglect, or difficult relationship patterns.
You do not need to identify with every topic in the title to attend. Some people may relate more to social anxiety, others to trauma, loneliness, narcissistic abuse, attachment issues, or simply the need for more understanding and support. What we share is the human need for connection, safety, and belonging.
This is not a therapy group. It is a support group meeting where people can reflect, share experiences, listen, and learn from one another in a respectful environment.
Meetings may include open discussion, reflection questions, optional writing prompts, grounding or mindfulness practices, communication and relationship topics, and discussion of helpful resources. One resource we may explore is Self-Therapy: Transform Stuck Parts of Yourself into Inner Resources of Strength, Love, and Freedom by Jay Earley, PhD, which introduces ideas based on Internal Family Systems. This is offered as a resource for discussion and self-reflection, not as a requirement and not as therapy.
At the beginning of meetings, there is usually an opportunity, completely optional, to share:
• what brings you to the group
• past experiences with support groups or other forms of support
• what you are hoping to find, understand, or work toward
Sharing is always optional. Listening counts as participation.
We may also talk together about what people would find most helpful in future meetings: more open discussion, more structured topics, resource sharing, brief presentations, reflection exercises, or a mix of formats.
### Donations
There is no required cost to attend, and no one
will be turned away because they cannot donate.
At the same time, keeping this group available does involve real monthly costs. Meetup is approximately $45 per month, and Zoom Pro is approximately $16.99 per month when billed monthly, bringing the basic platform cost to about $62 per month. Zoom’s free plan limits group meetings to 40 minutes, while Zoom Pro allows meetings up to 30 hours.
A few donations through the pledge option on the event page would make a real difference and could help keep the group going. Contributions also support the development of additional resources for participants and, eventually, the possibility of making helpful books, audiobooks, or other healing resources available to people who cannot afford them.
I have personally attended groups where I was not able to donate, so I understand completely if that is your situation.
Your presence matters. Donations are appreciated from those who are able, but they are not required.
