Tezos Music and Arts Community Meetup/Hangout
Tezos Music and Arts Community Meetup/Hangout
We're a small group of artists, musicians and creatives who met on the Tezos ecosystem (Hic et Nunc, TEIA, objkt, versum, typed.art, etc.) and have been experimenting with NFTs to address the "big" issues in art - copyright, transparency, fair treatment of artists and creators, and the role of voting and democratic participation in "decentralized" communities. The NFT markets on Tezos has been picking up steam lately, so we're looking to expand our group to anyone who wants to learn more about the community and ecosystem that has been thriving for the last several years. Tezos is now known as the "art chain" because it does things a little "different" than other places and earned its reputation as the most art friendly place in the industry right now. This meetup is going to mostly be an informal hangout with thoughtful people and good-natured vibes. The tech is nice and all, but at the end of the day we just want to hang out and chill. 🙂 This is a kid-friendly event. Our artists don't bite, don't worry. Tezos actually has a reputation for being the most "wholesome" place in crypto. 😂 (Alcohol is OK, but in moderation, please.) This event is sponsored by teia.cafe (me, providing food and drink), which is a music radio app that is fully integrated with the Tezos blockchain, which has full integration of proof-of-ownership, copyright protections, and a licensing marketplace! (Currently in beta - the site is live so feel free to try it out!)
