We are glad to announce our December 2020 meetup.
We will have our special speaker, Marco Obinu, Advisory Engineer @ SoftJam S.p.A.
Session: "Infrastructure as Code on Azure: show your Bicep! v0.2"
ARM Templates are the native Infrastructure as Code solution for Azure deployments. They have great potential, but their JSON can be challenging to read and maintain.
Bicep is the new open-source Domain Specific Language, created by the same team that maintains ARM Templates, aiming to reduce the ARM Templates complexities.
Even if it's a newly-created language, it's almost production-ready.
What can we already convert from JSON, and what is still missing in this initial phase? What's the benefit of doing this?
Let's discuss how we can migrate our ARM Template know-how to Bicep.
