I am delighted to invite you to our brilliant in-person events at Cass Art

It is a relaxed drawing experience with some of Glasgow's best life models.

These sessions are unthemed and relaxed and will be accompanied by our playlist as usual.

We will have space for 20 attendees.

WHAT WE PROVIDE/WHAT TO BRING:
Things we will provide are chairs and A3 drawing boards.
We have materials to borrow: pencils, charcoal, erasers, sharpeners and A3 Paper.
You should bring sketchbooks and any of your preferred dry or water-soluble materials.
We offer a discount at CASS ART for all attendees if you wish to purchase materials at the store.

PRICING INFO:
The sessions will be priced at £12/10/8 based on the attendee’s age
However, should you wish to tip the model, you can do so at the event.
Each ticket includes a £2 non-refundable deposit, which serves as a tip for the model should you not be able to attend.
For a refund/reallocation of your ticket, please contact me 24+ hours in advance.
After this, your space is non-refundable/movable.

Cass Art is located at 63-67 Queen Street, G1 3EN. Upon arrival, please head to the back of the store to find the class. If you plan to do some shopping, please collect a flyer from me during the class to receive a special discount :)

Welcome to our weekly life drawing club every Monday evening at Sloans Bar & Restaurant in the city centre. We will be either on the first floor or in the ballroom on the top floor.

Sketching starts at 7pm sharp, but you can arrive from 6.45pm and drop in a bit later too, if that suits you best. Meetup members please liaise in the bar beforehand. From 6.30pm there is a chance to meet, have a drink, and a chat. There's not much chatting when the drawing starts (although you are welcome to!)

Each week there are two life models, who pose in separate rooms. The timings for model 1: 6 x 2 mins, 3 x 5 mins, 3 x 10 mins - 20 min break - 2 x 20 mins. Timings for model 2: 4 x 15 mins - 20 min break - 2 x 20 mins.

The models swap rooms at the break. You're free to wander around, go from room to room, seat to seat, as you wish. Drinks can be taken from the bar and there's a good soundtrack to accompany your drawing.

Bring your own materials, although the event provides some basic stuff too. There are sketchpads to buy, although bring your own as we are often out of stock!

If you haven't got the Meetup app on your phone, it's worth getting. Plus, the wifi password at the venue is 'macaronicheese­', should you not get a signal.

This intimate drawing session is Glasgow's best kept secret. You will be sketching in The Grand Hall at House of Toad, in a small group. You can grab a drink or BYOB (some like to share a bottle of fizz, cause why not - we have glasses), we have materials and paper to borrow, drawing boards and easels if you fancy that.

You need NO experience whatsoever. ATYN is very relaxed and no one will ask to see your drawings. We have great music, great models and a lovely setting... What more could you ask for of a Wednesday evening? Come down and join us. Booking is slightly cheaper, but walk-ins always welcome.

We have drawing materials available to borrow. We have drawing boards you can borrow and sketch pads you can buy. And easels you can book!

This session is untutored and there will be music playing throughout.
