SQLcl scripting beyond what what could be done with pl/sql

Let’s look at hacking in SQLcl. What can be done with PL/SQL that could not be done by just using PL/SQL. What are some of the non straight SQL or PL/SQL possibilities this Swiss knife of a tool will give us?
