Online Crochet Classes (Beginner to Advanced)

My beginners crochet class offers a practical, comprehensive approach to learning crochet from scratch, using proven methods from teaching many crocheters of all ages and abilities.

The cost of the class is $10 per person. This includes:
-2 hours of learning with direction and troubleshooting
-A digital copy of my personally compiled beginners' guide with illustrations, written instructions, and links to videos for each step we learn in class!

It is important you bring the EXACT following to class:
(having the improper supplies at class can make learning frustrating)

• 1 skein of medium weight (#4) acrylic yarn or similar
  - should be in a solid color, not too dark or too light, so you can see your stitches
• 1 crochet hook size 5.5 mm (I) or 6.0 mm (J)
• snippers or scissors, just in case!

After you sign up for the class you will be able to see the link to join the class on the event page. You will also receive emails with class information and reminders from Meetup (please check your Junk mail).

Late Policy:
Please log on a few minutes early or on time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I may not let you in based on how far we already are in the class.

Cancellation Policy:

• Per Meetup policy, if any class is cancelled or rescheduled by the host, payment will be refunded to all.

Join me from the comfort of your own home to learn how to make this beautiful and versatile granny square used to make Afghans, bags, or sweaters, and more!

For this class, you must know how to make a slip knot, chain, single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. (all taught in beginners class)

At the time of class, you will need:
1. A crochet hook, size H- 5.0 mm
2. 3 different colors of medium worsted weight (#4) yarn, acrylic or cotton. Choose whatever colors you’d like! These flowers look great with just about any combination of colors; but, take a look at some examples on Google- 'African Flower Granny Square'- to see if there's a particular colorway you're interested in. I have used between 3-5 different colors for this pattern (I'll show you then), but we're trying to keep it simple for the class, so let's use the 3 just like you see in the picture above! :)
3. A darning needle
4. Your tablet, smart phone, laptop, or PC. You do not need to use your camera for this lesson, only if you'd like or find it useful.
5. Microsoft Teams application downloaded onto the device you are using.
