Crochet Chicken Class
PLEASE READ THE CLASS DESCRIPTION BEFORE SIGNING UP!
This class is most appropriate for advanced beginners.
You must know how to complete a chain, single crochet, and half double crochet.
Everyone loves these adorable, crocheted chickens! They are great friends to snuggle with, sit on a shelf, or gift to a loved one! Come along and learn how to make all the chicken friends you can dream of.
Please come prepared for class with the following:
- Blanket #6 Super Bulky (not #7!) yarn in the chicken color of your choice. Yarn in cover photo (from left to right): Bernat Blanket Tweeds, Bernat Blanket Vintage White, Bernat Blanket Almond
- About 12 inches of red blanket or chunky yarn for the comb
- About 9 inches of yellow, brown or gold yarn for the beak
- A hook- size 8.0 mm
- Scissors or yarn snippers
- Darning needle
- Toy stuffing
- 2- 10 mm safety eyes (optional) or black yarn
- A device (laptop, PC, tablet, or smart phone) preferably with Teams downloaded onto it.
The cost of this class is $10.00
Cost includes the 2-hour class and downloadable education materials with written instructions and link to class recording.
Refund Policy:
- All attendees will be refunded if any class is cancelled or rescheduled per Meetup policy.
- If you cannot attend a class due to another reason, please message the Host (Yarn Over Cleveland) to discuss alternative options.

Hanging Pathos Plant

This class is most appropriate for intermediate level students.
You must know how to complete a chain, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet.
Easier than you'd think, a hanging plant is fun to make with simple stitches and 3-part process (the soil ball, the basket, and the leaves!). Hang one from your rearview mirror in your car or next to your kitchen window! This is my favorite gift to give a plant lover!
Please come prepared for class with the following:- Acrylic or cotton #3 or #4 (DK or medium weight) yarn in the following colors:
Brown for the soil
Color of your choice for the basket (cream/beige)
Any shade of green for the leaves - A hook- size 3.0 mm
- Scissors or yarn snippers
- Darning needle
- Toy stuffing
- A device (laptop, PC, tablet, or smart phone) preferably with Teams downloaded onto it.
The cost of this class is $10.00
Cost includes the 2-hour class and downloadable education materials with written instructions and link to class recording. All documents and video to be sent within 24 hours after class has completed (for video editing).Refund Policy:
