Detalhes

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection's Coral Reef Conservation Program is looking for local active divers to assist in monitoring coral condition and reef health. The SEAFAN Bleach Watch program requires Observers to attend a free 2-hour training class to learn how to identify coral bleaching and disease and how to submit reports online.

An optional open water training dive is scheduled in the afternoon. This is a two-tank boat dive. Divers must have completed the in-class portion. Space is limited. Contact the shop for more information. Each diver will be responsible for the cost of the dive including gear, tanks, boat charter, and parking. Divers will be supplied with a data carrier slate.
In addition, an optional open water training dive is being scheduled for Sunday morning as a single tank shore dive.

New - Bleach Watch is now a PADI specialty course that can count toward the Master Scuba Diver rating. Only an additional certification processing fee is required. Contact the shop for more information.
