PhD TERESA MATIAS CORREIA
Dr. Correia is the Group Leader of the Quantitative Bio-Imaging Lab and coordinator of the Imaging Platform at Centro de Ciências do Mar do Algarve. She is also a visiting lecturer at King’s College London’s School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences. Her interdisciplinary background spans physics, mathematics, engineering, and programming. Her research focuses on AI-powered techniques for faster, more accurate imaging—advancing medical applications in cardiovascular disease and oncology.
