**OpenInfra Day Germany 2024!**

Nach vielen Jahren findet wieder ein [OpenInfra Day Germany](https://openinfra.dev/days) statt!

OK, der letzte war streng genommen ein OpenStack Day... Aber: nach der Umgestaltung der OpenInfra Foundation und der Schaffung des Regional-Hubs Europe in Brüssel (sowie einen Regional-Hub in Asien) wird auch der künftige OIF Summit umorganisert. Künftig wird es je einen Summit in USA, Europa sowie in Asien geben. In diesem Jahr findet eine sog. OIF Roadshow in Europa statt, d. h., dass innerhalb von etwa vier Wochen OIF Days in Deutschland (Berlin), Schweden, Frankreich sowie Türkei stattfinden werden.

Wir organisieren den OIF Day Germany mit und würden uns über eine rege Teilnahme freuen! Hinweis: Diese Veranstaltung findet in Kombination mit dem [Sovereign Cloud Stack Summit](https://scs.community/summit2024/) statt, der einen Tag zuvor in der gleichen Location durchgeführt wird.

Die Details werden zur Zeit ausgearbeitet, was aber bereits feststeht:

* der Termin: Mittwoch, 15.05.2024 von 09:00 bis 18:00 Uhr
* der Ort: Villa Elisabeth, Berlin

Der 'call for presentations' befindet sich gerade in Vorbereitung und wird in Kürze bekannt gegeben.

Die Registrierung wird ebenfalls in Kürze frei geschaltet.

Hello everyone!

As part of the [OpenInfra Days Europe 2024](https://openinfra.dev/days) we are organising an OpenStack meetup at CERN on **6th June 2024**.

The meetup will be an all day event. In the morning we will organise visits for those of you interested in discovering some of the CERN activities and history, while the afternoon will be dedicated to a series of talks.

**Registrations are done through the event site at [https://indico.cern.ch/e/openinfra-cern-2024](https://indico.cern.ch/e/openinfra-cern-2024)**. If you would like to come, **please register soon** so that we can organise the visits and guides.

The morning schedule will depend on the number of participants, so more details will be published in the coming weeks. In the afternoon, we plan to start the talks at 14:00 and finish around 17:00. After these talks, we plan for a social get-together.

Please note that the meeting will be in English.
