Name: West Palm Beach Chess Fundamentals: Master the Pawn Strategy
Start: 2026-11-08T22:00:00.000Z
Location: 125 Seagrape Cir

Whether you're brand new to chess or you've been playing casually for a while, this meetup is all about getting back to basics with one of the game's most underrated pieces: the pawn. We'll spend the afternoon working through practical pawn strategies that'll actually change how you play. Think pawn structure, passed pawns, pawn breaks—the fundamentals that separate beginners from intermediate players. You don't need to be a chess expert to join us. If you can move a pawn forward, you're ready to learn.

We'll work through some positions together, do some hands-on analysis at the board, and have plenty of time to ask questions. The vibe is relaxed and collaborative—this isn't a tournament, just a group of people in West Palm Beach who want to get better at chess together. Bring a notebook if you like, or just bring yourself. We'll have boards and pieces on hand, and everyone's welcome regardless of where you're starting from.

If this sounds interesting to you, go ahead and RSVP so we know you're coming. It helps us plan for setup and makes sure we have enough boards and materials for everyone. Hope to see you there.
