Free Visit to the Barcelona Maritime Museum / Visita gratis al MMB

Hi everyone!
Next Sunday, March 1st is Free Museum Day, so…
we’re going to visit the Barcelona Maritime Museum (Museu Marítim de Barcelona)!
The museum is located in the historic Royal Shipyards (Drassanes Reials), right opposite the Columbus Monument at the end of La Rambla, by Barcelona’s harbour.
The Royal Shipyards were in use between the 13th and 18th centuries, and today the museum is one of the most important maritime museums in the Mediterranean. It showcases Barcelona’s rich seafaring history from the Middle Ages to the modern era.
After the visit, we’ll head to a nearby bar to have a drink, meet new people and expand our social circle.

El próximo domingo 1 de marzo es el Día del Museo Gratis, así que…
¡vamos a visitar el Museo Marítimo de Barcelona (Museu Marítim de Barcelona)!
Este museo está ubicado en los históricos edificios de las Drassanes Reials (Astilleros Reales), justo enfrente del Monumento a Colón, al final de Las Ramblas, junto al puerto de Barcelona.
Los Astilleros Reales se utilizaron entre los siglos XIII y XVIII y hoy el museo es uno de los más importantes del Mediterráneo dedicados a la historia marítima. En él se puede descubrir la rica tradición naval de Barcelona desde la Edad Media hasta la época moderna.
Después de la visita, iremos a un bar cercano para tomar algo, conocer gente nueva y ampliar nuestro círculo social.
