Not a beginner ride - some off-road

Meet at Worthing Pier at 10:00. A loop round Goring and up the cycle path to Findon before a short off-road section to Cranks at North Farm (just off the A24) for coffee. Returning the same off-road route to Findon then back to the Pier via Offington and Broadwater.

Note - the last mile to Cranks (and back) is half a footpath alongside the A24 and half a Restricted Byway (up a hill). Off-road tyres recommended even though the track is dry due to slope/track conditions. Hike-a-Bike may be necessary!

We should be back by about 1:30pm.

Please check that your bike is roadworthy - we recommend the “M Check” shown here: https://www.sustrans.org.uk/our-blog/get-active/2019/everyday-walking-and-cycling/mcheck

If you have a pump, puncture repair kit and a basic cycling tool kit, we recommend bringing them (just in case).

Children are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult.

All participants are ultimately responsible for their own safety and wellbeing and should be aware that the medical/first aid provisions are no different than if they were riding on their own or informally with friends
